Christian, Angel, Nick and James moved my handweaving / tailoring studio from Springfield to the Hill Towns yesterday. Great group of guys who cheerfully tackled some unusual and heavy items, wrangling them through tight doorways and down long corridors. Speedy work with respectful care of my equipment. Project came in under estimate. Highly recommended.

These guys are fantastic they show up on time. Their crews are excellent. They are friendly and very good at what they do. They moved a large heavy sofa bed through a series if turns and doors and got it done with no issues. Have used them twice and will use them again

Sean and Conor were very friendly, helpful and courteous. They handled our things with great care and asked questions if needed for any clarification. The only feedback is for the estimate; we ended up paying a bit more than what was quoted despite going through what I thought was a thorough tally of the items to move. To be fair, the actual amount was appropriate to the time spent (just a lot more time than what was originally planned for, in part due to a lot of rain). All in all, great company and I would definitely recommend them!

I recently moved and had team (Greg. R, jayvon s and Dakota.R) from West Springfield Ma. They were very nice and most importantly quick, helpful and careful. I would definitely use this team and or the company again! I was happy with their service and they should be recognized for representing the company so well and did a great job!! I would recommend these workers and the company if anyone plans on moving. The price was also fair and reasonable. I also like to acknowledge Holly who assisted me with organizing the move time and date. She was so patient with me when I had to reschedule a date BC of a work conflict and I appreciated being accomdated and receiving such great customer service.

Greg and Matt were professional, efficient, amicable, and exceptionally helpful. They even put my bed frame together and finished in half the time allotted for the job. I couldn't be happier, and you will be too if you use this moving crew. We called the same day that we needed the help, and they responded quickly and showed up right away.

Fresh Start was really amazing for us. Their crew showed up, worked their tales up and even had a little fun. Five young guys with strong backs and great attitudes. They did everything we asked and I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

In the middle of November I received a flyer in the mail from Fresh Start Movers, filled out the online form, and received a quote pretty quickly. I did the same thing with some other moving companies and ended up booking another local company. 3 days before my move on December 18th, I called that moving company to obtain their Certificate of Insurance (COI), as my destination address requires one. I then learned that they do not carry insurance! My stomach turned. How had I backed myself into this corner?? So I called Fresh Start, hoping they could find space in their schedule. By some miracle, they had a cancellation on the day of my move because of the huge snow storm approaching New England. Elyssa was the original person who helped me, and Holly was the one to book my move the second time. Both were professional and awesome. The day came, and David and Jake showed up right on time, ready to work, and had me on my way. They did an excellent job, and I cannot say enough nice things about these four people as well as this company. If you want things done right the first time by trusted, personable, INSURED movers, call Fresh Start. Thank me later.

Our move with Fresh Start could not possibly have been a more positive experience! From the very first contact with their office, they were incredibly professional and responsive. The quotation process was simple and the quote was straightforward and easy to understand. The two gentleman who helped us with the move, Ray and John, were also incredible. They were extremely professional and unbelievably efficient in their work. They took great care of our belongings and installed everything where we wanted it in our new home. They even moved a couple of items around for us. They also took what we felt were good COVID protections. Both John and Ray wore masks and gloves while in our homes and handling our belongings. We really cannot recommend Fresh Start highly enough and would expect you to be very satisfied if you contact them!

Tom, Sean, and Juan whole were fantastic. Prompt (early, actually), professional (I witnessed some really impressive Tetris action loading the truck), and friendly. Handled everything with care and I’m confident in the loading job. Would recommend to anyone.

I am so so so glad that we hired Fresh Start for our move! I had a great experience over the phone with the moving coordinator (Kristen) and crew (Will, Angel, and David) were incredibly professional and hard-working. They had their work cut out for them! They moved us out of a third floor walk up apartment on a very hot day, and we have a LOT of furniture. On top of that, our move was scheduled in the middle of a global pandemic, so these guys did all this while wearing masks and following social distancing protocols! Even with the stairs and the heat, the crew was unbelievably efficient and treated all our belongings with care and consideration. They got the entire job done in time to match the quote we were given, which was affordable and well-worth the money. I will absolutely be hiring Fresh Start for my next move!

We hired Fresh Start - The Moving Crew for a move from 3 different locations in Massachusetts to Providence, Rhode Island, in the middle of the Coronavirus pandemic. Our crew -- David V, Jay S, DD Demonte, Mike, and Andie W -- were hard-working, careful, professional, diligent, helpful beyond the requirements of the move, and just plain pleasant nice people. Boxes of books, clothes, tools from storage, office furniture, and house furniture including my great-grandmothers china cabinet all arrived safely. Because of the pandemic, Fresh Start had to estimate cost without a walk through: we stayed right on budget. Thank you Fresh Start!

David and Christian moved myself and three other roommates from a 3 bedroom in one part of Boston to a 4 bedroom in another part of the city. They did it in under the quoted time and price. Both movers handled everything with care and purpose, communicated effectively with us and with each other, and even added in extra boxes at the end since they had some extra space in the truck. We moved the weekend of September 1st, typically a very stressful time, but the moving itself was the least of our worries thanks to Fresh Start. Despite the distance from the Worcester office to Boston, it was still significantly cheaper to use Fresh Start than any other quote I got from movers with offices in the Boston area. Would highly recommend, and would definitely use their services again.

The movers and office team helped us move 600 miles during the peak of COVID madness in April and we all made it safely and in one piece!!

Recently my partner and I moved from Arlington, MA to Pelham, MA. We got bids from 5 different movers, including Fresh Start. Although FS was among the least expensive quotes, they weren't the very cheapest, but we went with them anyway, and we are so glad we did. Everyone we worked with at FS was wonderful; not just professional, but kind and thoughtful. It started with a virtual walkthrough with Jamie, the owner. While talking, he mentioned how pleased he was that, during that week, he was able to keep 30 people employed - in other words he seemed like a genuinely decent human being. At the end he said "I hope you have a great move, whoever you go with," and seemed to really mean it. After that we worked with Kristen, a move coordinator. She was also helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, and helped us figure out a schedule, what, if any, extra insurance might be good, and all the other details. She was a constant cheerful presence, and also expressed great admiration for Jamie as a boss and as a person. Finally the day came and the 5-person crew arrived, Rainell, John, Jeremiah, Demonte and Cameron. Again to a person they were hard-working, friendly, skilled, and professional. At one point I was chatting with Rai, and he said "I tell people, don't judge someone by his size - show me his heart and I'll tell you who will get the job done." Well this team had heart. They got our place moved with hardly any trouble at all - including when it came time to to hoist my sofa over a freshly painted second floor balcony. Not a scratch on either the balcony or the sofa They were amazing. At one point I said to Cameron, the youngest member, that it seemed like a good crew to work on. He said, yeah, not only were they great to work with, but they actually took the time to explain to you how things were done so you could become more skilled. And another example: I ordered pizza for everyone - seemed the least I could do - and they even made a point to knock that half an hour off the bill. Rai and John managed the crew perfectly, Rai in the truck and John in the house. And Demonte and Jeremiah, though neither were what you would call big guys, by the end I was half ready to see if they could pick up the truck and carry it. And I wouldn't have been surprised if they did That's heart - all of it. Everyone knows moving house is dreadful, and frankly I hope never to do it again. But if I did, this is the exact crew I would want to work with. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

We were totally delighted with Fresh Start Moving Crew and their staff. This company made our move less stressful from pickup to delivery and we moved from Massachusetts to Florida! The staff was very personable both on the phone and in person. I was able to speak with a real person whenever I had a question or concern. All my belongings were carefully wrapped and loaded on time and very efficiently. We were on a tight timetable and Tyler was exceptional in the loading of our furniture as well as other items like our kayaks, bicycles and even a motorcycle. All our stuff arrived on time and nothing was damaged at all. The unload crew was also very efficient and personable. They even set up everything and made sure we had it all in place. I would highly recommend the Fresh Start moving crew.

We recently found ourselves in need of an interstate move with very short notice. Fresh Start was one of the companies we contacted for a price quote and the only company that guaranteed their crew and owner would be responsible for our belongings from the loading end to the delivery end without handing us off to other drivers or crews during transit. We found it very easy to communicate, get our questions answered, and make changes with this small, close-knit company. We had lots of questions that were handled quickly and professionally by James and his assistant, Holly. We were given a schedule for packing, loading, delivery, and unloading. They kept to the schedule from day I. The hard-working crew led by Arthur consisted of Joel, Nick, Stephanie, and Thomas. During the packing and loading phase, it was determined that a second truck was needed and on the delivery end, we met Edgar. We were impressed with how well wrapped and protected our furniture was and although there were some bumps and scrapes and issues along the way, in the end, the crew and owner made good on everything. Communication from the crew was excellent. They constantly kept us informed and their honesty was noticeable. Arthur's integrity stood out as he brought to our attention any damage or issues that occurred during transit, some of which existed before the move! That spoke volumes to us. All-in-all, a good experience. We would not hesitate to use Fresh Start again and/or recommend them to friends/family/etc. Jim & Joann

Outstanding moving company with outstanding crews. I have used them twice, and both times have been an easy and stress free experience. Part of my move also involved the loading and unloading of a POD, and again, no problem for this team. The crew is well trained, respectful, and takes good care with your belongings. A pleasure to work with, and while I hope I don't have to move again soon, this is the crew/company I would call! Jorge and his crew were the best!!! I strongly recommend Fresh Start-The Moving Crew.The movers consisting of Tyler, Luis, and Edgar, were extremely personable, conscientious and efficient in taking the utmost care of my belongings by wrapping and handling all pieces properly. They immediately made a plan upon arrival and rapidly moved through the project. James the owner met with me prior to the move to give me a written quote and go over all the details. Holly in the office answered any questions I had prior to the move. The cost was slightly higher than the initial quote but that was due to me adding more items to the move as they progressed. After reading all the very positive reviews for Fresh Start online we hired them for our move from a small apartment into our first home, and we couldn't be happier with the crew they sent to help us! Holly in their scheduling office was very friendly, explained their bid and how the final figure would work to me very clearly. Even when we called back a few days later and requested changes to the original bid, she reassured me it wouldn't be a problem. The apartment was on the 2nd floor with a rather narrow stairway our only way to get anything in or out. Edgar, Eric and Angel, the moving crew sent to help us, were all awesome and very friendly. They were all more than willing to move not only the furniture we originally requested, but also boxes we had packed beforehand! They were very careful with all our stuff and helped place the furniture wherever requested at the new house. If you need a crew of helpful, friendly and very hard-working guys for your move DEFINITELY give Fresh Start a call!
